Internet Code of Practice

Internet.org.uk helps protect consumers and honest traders online. Back in 1996, we introduced a set of design and trading standards for people wanting to trade safely online. internet.org.uk still maintains these standards and recently updated them to cater for small device profiles (such as mobile handsets).

Some schools now teach the Internet Code of Practice to students and we welcome feedback and comments. To make sure that the standard remains relevant to today's best practices, internet.org.uk intends to introduce a forum in which to air views and keep the standard up to date.
